NEW YORK, NY

Leading ticketing, fundraising, and marketing solution for the arts, PatronManager, a Patron Technology product, will be presenting an expert panel discussion at the League of Historic American Theatres’ (LHAT) 43rd National Conference in Philadelphia. Thriving in the Digital Age: A Candid Conversation on the Future of Technology will be presented twice on Monday, July 15th, moderated by Robert Friend, PatonManager’s VP of Business Development & Consulting.

LHAT’s annual conference is a gathering of historic theatre professionals, community leaders, and service providers that attracts participants from across the U.S. and Canada for idea sharing and network building. Friend’s panel supports the event’s goal of strengthening efforts to sustain historic theatres by focusing on what the future technological landscape may hold for arts and cultural institutions, pinpointing the latest industry trends like artificial intelligence. Joining Friend for this candid discussion will be three leaders in ticketing and non-profit arts: Gene Carr, Chief Innovation Officer of Patron Technology, Maureen Andersen, CEO of INTIX, and Linda Forlini, Vice President at TicketPhiladelphia.

“Technology is shifting faster than the speed of change,” says Friend. “The use of patron engagement technology, specifically in the areas of ticketing, development, and integrated marketing services is becoming critical to organizational strength and progress. Thus, I am thrilled to be leading an expert panel that will encourage theatres to start thinking about how they can incorporate these technology best practices to ensure the future success of our industry.”
