How to Break PatronManager (Without Breaking It): Creative Hacks for Unique Arts Organizations

Many arts organizations don’t fit neatly into the “standard” PatronManager setup. At Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, we’ve had to stretch, bend, and even “break” the system to make it work for our unique needs as a membership-based performing arts nonprofit. This session will highlight creative ways to customize PatronManager to track chorus members, affinity groups, volunteer engagement, and dues; manage quirky ticketing needs like group sales and source codes; and build communications workflows for highly segmented audiences. Attendees will leave with practical “hacks” they can adapt to their own organizations and a new perspective on how PatronManager can support them even when their needs are outside the box.
