DALLAS, TX — September 10, 2026 — Leap Event Technology is teaming up with Sounds of the Ocean for its limited run at Waikīkī Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, from October 15, 2026 through April 30, 2027. As an Executive Producer, Leap will drive ticketing, marketing, audience development, and strategic advisory behind the award-winning attraction. The partnership builds on Leap’s existing collaboration with Sounds of the Ocean on its planetarium tour.
Created by international wellness, art, and music collective Embodied Sounds, Inc., Sounds of the Ocean wraps guests in floor-to-ceiling cinematic ocean imagery, immersive projection art, and an original score woven with authentic whale and dolphin recordings. This multi-sensory experience is an official United Nations Ocean Decade Activity, and it has been featured by PBS, National Geographic Abu Dhabi, Forbes, USA Today, and Rolling Stone.
Through the partnership, Leap will strategize and implement marketing campaigns designed to reach both visiting travelers and the local Oʻahu community, grow its audience to maximize ticket sales across its run, and provide data-driven marketing consulting to help Embodied Sounds scale this internationally recognized experience.
“The most compelling attractions today create an emotional connection that stays with guests long after they leave. Sounds of the Ocean captures what makes immersive experiences so powerful: it’s meaningful, memorable, and purpose-driven. Helping bring this experience to more audiences and ensuring every detail reflects the depth of what Embodied Sounds has created is exactly the kind of work we set out to deliver,” stated Allison Niedermeier Lee, SVP of Strategy and Head of Attractions at Leap Event Technology.
The mission runs deeper than entertainment. Ten percent of every Sounds of the Ocean ticket sold in Waikīkī benefits the Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Research Project, an organization that has pulled more than 1.28 million pounds of marine debris from the Papahānaumokuākea National Marine Sanctuary since 2020. For Leap, that meant building a growth strategy to reach the right people at the right time and turn that connection into ticket sales to directly fund ocean conservation.
“With Sounds of the Ocean, we’re not just inviting people to witness the magic beneath the surface,” said co-creator Joshua Sam Miller. “We’re inviting them to reconnect with nature and leave inspired to help protect the waters that support all life.”
